Obituary for Anna Beth Hardin

Anna, 88, went to be with her Lord on November 3, 2022 in Piedmont, Oklahoma. She was born on August 18, 1934 to her parents Kirk and Edna (Nichols) Pearce in Greenville, Texas. She was the younger of two and mother of two wonderful girls. She married the love of her life Kenneth Aaron Hardin, a Korean veteran, in 1953. Together they raised their girls until his passing on October 9, 1980. Anna loved her girls and loved to teach them about nature and did a lot of camping with them. She was even the leader of the Girls Campfire Group they were in. Anna was also very passionate about gardening and was a part of the Gardening Club. She was a very hard working, independent woman and retired at 63 and was a long time member of New Covenant Methodist Church in Mesquite, Texas. As a devoted Christian, she praised her Lord by singing in the church choir. She will be remembered as a loving mother, caring grandmother and wonderful great-grandmother. Preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Nancy; and sister, Betty Parrot. She leaves cherished memories with her daughter, Janis Deason and her husband, Steve; grandchildren, Charles Eaton, Jacob Eaton & wife, Emily and Justin Deason & wife, Autumn; great-grandchildren, Jaxon, Charles A., Nathan, Aubrey, Aboss, Blair, Ruby, and Faith.
Graveside services to honor her life will be held 2:00 pm Thursday, November 10, 2022 at Sonora Cemetery in Fairlie, Texas.
