Obituary for April Kaye Snow (Snow)

On February 7th, April Kaye Snow went to be with her Lord and Savior. She was preceded in death by her mother, Connie Stovall, and her father, Donald Snow. Her final moments were spent with the two people that made up the entirety of her world; her two children: Billy (age 47), and Emily (age 28). Besides her children, Kaye is survived by her stepfather, James Stovall; her brother, David; daughter-in-law, Lisa; son-in-law, Charlie; aunt, Bonnie; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends: as well as her grandson, Henry.

She was born and raised in Oklahoma City. She did spend a few years in Texas, but eventually returned to be with her extended family and friends in Oklahoma.

Kaye’s early entry into parenthood was met with a selflessness that few possess. Never one to seek attention, she was often self-effacing and unwilling to voice her opinion. This, however, was not a reflection of her intelligence, which was on full display in her quick wit and wry sense of humor.

This selflessness continued through her life, right up to the end, when her greatest concern was not for herself, but for those she was leaving behind.

Her absence will forever be felt, but it will serve as a reminder of the love she gave to those around her.

Per her wishes, Kaye’s ashes will be dispersed at a special location by her family.
