Dava Earlayne Swafford Haswell, daughter of the late David Earl and Jacqueline Irene Swafford, peacefully entered her heavenly home on Saturday, December 24, 2022, surrounded by her loving family. The eldest daughter of her parents, Dava graduated from Capitol Hill High School. She lived and worked in Oklahoma City all of her life, marrying the love of her life, Larry W. Haswell, achieving a successful thirty-plus year career in real estate and mortgage, where she helped many to become homeowners for the first time. Dava’s greatest source of happiness was her husband, children, and grandchildren. She enjoyed decorating and redecorating her home, tending her flowers and her property, which she adored. She also enjoyed showing off her extensive photo collection and her knowledge of old westerns, classic movies, and country music. It was always her pleasure to welcome countless friends, and friends she counted as family into her home. Dava was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Don Paul Swafford, and her nephew, Gregory Shawn Pritner. Dava is survived by her husband of fifty-seven years, Larry W. Haswell; her daughter, Kayla Haswell-Lee and husband Jimmy; her son, Wayne Haswell and wife Tiffany; her grandchildren, Keely Charvat; Alanna, Alaina, Aaliyah and Tristan Lee; and Tripp and Honor Haswell; her sister, Jan Pritner and husband Bennie; niece, Leslie Pritner Harris and husband Johnny; nephew, David Kyle Swafford and wife, Emily; Her Sister-in-law, Karen Stewart, with whom she shared a close relationship; as well as many loving cousins and relatives. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Foster Care and Adoption Association, Po Box 117, Oklahoma City, OK 73101, FCAO.org.
