Dr. David Michael Freeman was born January 2, 1944 in Oklahoma City the son of William V. and Vivian (Atchison) Freeman. He completed this life on Monday, December 12, 2022 at his sister’s home in Edmond at the age of 78. He was surrounded by his family and beloved dogs, Angel and Dusty, when he went to heaven.
David was raised in Oklahoma City where he graduated from Northwest Classen. After receiving his Bachelors Degree he went on to graduate from the UMKC School of Dentistry. David served our country in the U.S. Army from 1970 to 1974. David had a successful dental practice in Oklahoma City for many years.
After his retirement, David, became a full time resident at his home on Strayhorn Landing at Lake Tenkiller. David was kind, compassionate, generous and always there for anyone who needed his smile.
David was preceded in death by his parents and an infant brother.
David is survived by his sister, June Ann Hanks and her husband David Francis; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorial service will be Thursday, December 22 at 2:00 PM in the Vondel Smith Mortuary North Chapel, 13125 N. MacArthur Blvd. Interment will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.
