Leonard Dean Davis went to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 17, 2022 at the age of 84. He was born February 18, 1938 in West Plains, Missouri to his parents, Mitchell Elmond and Beulah Mae (Alspaugh) Davis. Dean graduated from Moore High School and went on to earn a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Central State university. He was a State Farm Insurance Agent for 35 years. Dean married the love of his life Norma Jean Scroggins on September 20, 1959 and they were married for 63 years.

Dean was an active member of Eagle Heights Church since it’s inception in 1994. He served in a variety of positions which included Pastors Cabinet, Church Trustee, Small Group leader and Small group trainer. Dean loved missions and spent time internationally working in Mexico to help build and expand churches in the Yucatan Peninsula. He served locally by helping start Whiz Kids at EHC and participating as a Whiz kids leader for 20 years, in which he mentored many children. Dean loved planting and working in his garden. He would show his love by sharing his vegetables with family and friends. Dean loved spending time with his family, especially his grandsons, Tanner and Braden.
