Patricia J. Smith, 84, was welcomed into Heavens Gates on January 16, 2023. She was born in Oklahoma City, OK on March 17, 1938 to Nickson David & Vernice Ione (Tucker) Blair. She spent much of her life in Oklahoma City, and graduated from Crooked Oak in 1956 where she met a charming man named Wendell. On November 14, 1954 the two went to Gainsville, TX where she wed the love of her life Wendell Smith, and they were blessed with three children. Pat was an office manager for many different physician’s offices, but retired from the workforce in December of 1999. In 2007, she and Wendell moved to the Texoma area and enjoyed many years there, but decided to move back to Moore, OK to be closer to family. Patricia loved spending time with her family, especially around the holidays. She was known to enjoy decorating for each and every holiday, especially Christmas and Independence Day. Around Christmas time, you would find a tree in every room of her home, even one on the front porch. She had a knack for making door wreaths, working with floral arrangements, and was also talented with ceramics. Aside from being a talented woman, she was a devoted wife, a doting mother, grandmother and great grandmother or “Mimi” as well. The memories she made with her family will be cherished forever. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother Owen Lavern “Sonny” Blair, and a Daughter-In-Law, Jill Smith. She is survived by her husband Wendell; son David Keith Smith; daughter, Pamela Renae Graden & husband Mike Graden; daughter, Sheree Michelle Wilhite & husband Tim Wilhite, grandchildren Crystal Nicole Grandstaff & husband Paul Grandstaff; Geoffrey Kyle Smith; Kelsey Marie Crider & husband Aaron Crider; Nickolas Benjamin Smith; Caitlin Marissa Reddick & husband Matt Reddick; MaCayla Renae Gray; Chesyne Mariah Gray; Great grandchildren: Jace, Tinley, Houston, Lyla, Savanna, Kennedy, Atlas, Willow, and Aurora.
