Sue Nell Stelter

Sue, 84, joined her heavenly father on June 19, 2022. Sue was born in Lamar, OK on September 2, 1937 to James P. & Amy (Easley) Arthur.
Sue spent her early childhood years in the community of Stuart, Oklahoma, the youngest of six children. She graduated from Stuart High School in 1955. On June 18, 1955 Sue married the love of her life Henry D. Stelter. To this union were born three children James, Glenn & Cindy.
Sue worked as a Rural Mail Carrier for 26 years, retiring in 1997. She was a faithful member of Shartel Church of God where she celebrated her faith with the Joyaires. She loved fishing, especially on their farm ponds near Holdenville. She was also a gifted artist. As the family reflects, they agree that Sunday dinners will never be the same without her delicious roasts and the grandkid's favorite yeast rolls. She will be remembered for her kind and forgiving heart, her infectious smile, her giving spirit, and her unending love for her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents: James & Amy Arthur; son Glenn Stelter; husband Henry Stelter; brothers: Kenneth Arthur, Stan Arthur, & Don Arthur; and her sisters: Wilma Gray & Wanda Morrow
She is survived by her: son, James Stelter & his wife Debbie; daughter, Cindy Stelter; 4 grandchildren: Reed Stelter, Nick Smith & his wife Michelle, Erin Stelter, Tony Stelter; & great grandson Ethan Stelter.
