Terry Scott Ward, 79, passed away on December 22, 2022 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Terry was born September 21, 1943 to Ulys and Martha Ward in Gene Autry, Oklahoma. Terry’s family would eventually settle in Sulphur, Oklahoma where Terry would spend his formative years. Terry attended Sulphur High School where he excelled in sports especially football. After graduation from high school in 1961 Terry joined his brother Steve on a journey to Oregon to fight forest fires. Eventually Terry found his way back to Oklahoma where he would meet and marry the love of his life and Diana Winans on April 30, 1999 together they celebrated 23 wonderful years together. Terry spent 35 years in the telecommunications industry working for Lucent Technologies where he retired. Retirement Terry to spend every day on the golf course, he was a fiercely competitive player & had achieved bragging rights for the four holes in ones during his golfing career, the most recent in April of 2021. Terry followed and enjoyed many sports and was an avid fan of the OU Sooners Football team.

Terry will always be remembered as an industrious, creative and hard-working individual, he was always willing to lend a helping hand to many of his family and friends.

Terry always looked forward to and thoroughly enjoyed spending time with his family and countless friends. He will be greatly missed by all those whose lives he touched

Brother-in-Law, Gerald Philpot;
Nephew, Chase Ebeling.

Terry leaves behind his loving family:
Wife of 23 years, Diana Ward;
Son, Craig Casey and Daughter- in- law, Pratibha Gautam;
Brother, Sid Ward and wife, Flo;
Brother, Steve Ward and wife, Maris;
Brother in law Jim Winans and wife Sandy.
And numerous Nephews, Nieces and Friends.
