Obituary for Timothy Mark Lasater

Timothy Mark Lasater, 71, loving husband, father and grandfather passed away on February 2nd. Tim spent two years in the Army, then worked many years as an automotive technician in Oklahoma City, OK. In Tim’s spare time he loved watching sports, especially OU football, listening to oldies, and spending time with his grandkids. He was a loving partner to his wife Sharon, and a kind, supportive father to his son Ricky and daughter Shaunta’. He most cherished being a papa to his grandkids. He had such a kind soul and would always do anything he could to help anyone. He was very ‘go with the flow’ and he was very rarely seen upset or flustered. Aside from being survived by his wife Sharon, son Ricky Lasater and daughter and son-in-law Shaunta and Eric Chamberlin, Tim leaves behind five grandchildren, Imaiah, D’Marcus, Joseph, Maxwell and Samuel. He is also survived by his mother Betty Walters, brothers Mike McLemore and Steve Davis and sisters Becky McLemore and Marian Walters and many other loved family members. He was preceded in death by his parents Lois and J.B. Lasater and Ralph Otley.
The family will hold a memorial service on Saturday, February 12th at noon. Should weather require a change in time/day, updated information regarding service may be found at Vondel L. Smith & Son at 6934 S. Western Ave.
