The family has requested no flowers, but your thoughts and prayers are greatly appreciated and sufficient.

We are very sorry to announce the news to our relatives, friends and friends far and near, our Father, Grandfather and Great-grandfather, Tín Văn Nguyễn, of Moore, Oklahoma, passed away in the year of the Tiger, Tuesday, January 10th, 2023 in Norman, Oklahoma.

He lived a full life in his 90 years on this earth. Tín was born in Vietnam on February 15, 1933. Tín worked with the US Military and CIA during the Vietnam War aiding with intelligence. He married his wife Le Phan in 1954 and they were blessed with a large family. To avoid prosecution by the communist government, Tín moved his family to the U.S. in 1975 and they settled in Ada, Oklahoma with the assistance of the First Baptist Church of Ada. The church elders became dear friends of Tín and his family. While living in Ada, Tín became a woodworker and assisted with building church furniture at Scott’s Manufacturing.

After he retired in 1999 Tín and his family moved to Moore, OK where he spent the rest of his days spending time with his grandchildren. In his spare time, Tín enjoyed woodworking on his own. He and his family refinished all the woodwork in their home in Moore.

Tín had an innate ability to rebuild and recover from anything life brought his way. He was a very patient man and also loved to make others smile with his jokes. His great sense of humor and resilience will always be remembered by his family and his dear friends.
