Wanda Marie Mansfield, 90, Passed away on Monday, January 17, 2022 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

A Celebration of Wanda’s life will be Saturday, January 22, 2022 at Vondel Smith Colonial Chapel at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens.
Wanda was born May 25, 1931 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Dessie Vonda (Langford) and Paul Newton Williams. She loved her family and never wanted to be a burden. Wanda and Richard wanted to help others expecting nothing in return. She was a petite lady. Wanda said she was 5’ 2”. Sherry said that was only in her 2” heels and 3” high hair.
Wanda took pride in her work, Wilson’s, Western Electric, and Universal Services Company which she and Richard owned. Wanda took pride in her home. Her home was so clean that you could eat off of the floor. Most of all Wanda took pride in her image as well as Richards. Wanda always dressed beautiful, hair and nails always perfect… even planned her vacations to Vegas and Tunica around her hair and nail appointments. She loved to travel to Vegas, Tunica, Hawaii, and Branson where they owned a home. Wanda also made a special trip to Disney World with Sherry and Tara.
Wanda was independent, even a little sassy (nice way to saying she was stubborn) She left for an errand several years ago on New Years Day. Wanda was finally found at 3:00 AM after an all out search by family and Police. She said she had been in Dallas shopping and finally pulled over to regroup and find her way home.
Wanda recently wanted her car and keys and couldn’t even stand by herself. When in the hospital she had to be moved from her room at the end of the hall to one by the nurse’s station. When Sherry got to the hospital the nurse said she’s a busy little thing. Sherry just grinned and said I told you so.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Richard; Brother, Jack Williams.
Wanda is survived by her daughter, Sherry Hutchison; Granddaughter, Tara Hutchison; Great granddaughter, Genevieve Walker; Several nieces and nephews, Danette Williams, Randy Williams, and Ron Williams.
Wanda was a special lady. She will be missed so very much by family and caregivers and Crossroads Hospice.
The family would like to give a special Thank You to: Trisha, Carol, Sharonda, Shemeka.
