Funeral services are 10:00 AM Thurs, Dec 17, 2015 at Vondel Smith Mortuary South Colonial Chapel, with burial following at Resthaven Memory Gardens.


Janie, 52, passed away Dec 13, 2015. The daughter of Billy Joe & Mary Louise Moore, Janie was born March 15, 1963 in Tishomingo, OK. In 1978 Janie married Jackie Reece & together shared 37 years & two days of marriage. In addition to being a loving wife, devoted mother & dedicated homemaker, Janie worked as a waitress at Denny’s & Skyline Restaurants. Janie enjoyed listening to country music, playing Bingo, listening to Elvis & watching Dog Bounty Hunter. She truly loved her husband, family, & her dogs. She enjoyed traveling with her husband Jackie, was always a prankster & really, really enjoyed “bed games”, but above all else, Janie was a sincerely kind person, who always put the needs of others before her own. Preceded in death by her parents, Billy Joe & Mary Louise Moore; 4 Brothers: Jerry, Terry, Ronnie, & Billy Moore; & 1 Sister Connie Odom. She leaves behind her loving husband, Jackie Reece; daughters: Beverly Reece, Jamie Hays & her fiancé Nick Freeman; grandchildren: Makenzie & Jayden Lamb, Ashton & Kelsey McKinney, & Abagail Roberson, sister, Kathy Henley; brother, Don Moore; and dear friends: Kathy Woosley & Jennifer Marsh. Janie will be forever missed by all that knew her.
